Alors que les hit.parade de 1974 voient défiler des succès comme Le premier Pas de Claude-Michel Schonberg, Waterloo d'Abba, Le téléphone pleure de Claude françois, ou Vanina de Dave, ou Mon Vieux de Daniel Guichard, une chanson que mon père appréciait particulièrement, d'autres artistes anglo-saxons sortent des succès qui déménagent comme Sparks avec This town ain't big enough for the both of us, The Sweet avec Teenage Rampage, les Rubettes avec Sugar Baby Love, Seasons In The Sun par Terry Jacks ou Left Side avec Like a locomotion ou plus proche de nous Peter Koelewijn & Zijn Rockets Kom Van Dat Dak Af

A l'époque on était très colorés... Personnellement, j'avais en plus de mes chemises chamarées avec col pelle à tarte et mes pantalons pattes d'ef, des godasses de toutes les couleurs avec une semelle aussi épaisse que celles du groupe Difficile d'imaginer ça en me voyant en habit avec mes kilos en trop...
